“I am rich. I am fearless.” If that sounds hollow, there’s a reason. Lines we don’t believe can make us feel worse. Yours start where you are use your real proof, and grow one believable step at a time.

Why it works

Most affirmations backfire.
Here’s what we do instead.

Every rule we write by comes from published research on self-affirmation, self-talk and habit change.

01

Believable beats big

Repeating “I’m a lovable person” made people with low self-esteem feel worse (Wood, Perunovic & Lee, 2009). We calibrate every line to how true it feels today, then grow from there.

02

Your values, not a slogan

Reflecting on what you care about lowers defensiveness and opens people to change (Cohen & Sherman, 2014). Your affirmations grow from your own values.

03

First “you”, then “I”

Talking to yourself as “you” or by name helps people regulate emotions and follow through (Kross et al., 2014; Dolcos & Albarracín, 2014). You hear each line as “you”, then say it as “I”.

04

Proof and a plan

Real evidence is hard to argue with, and if-then plans turn intentions into action (Gollwitzer, 1999). Your track uses your own proof and names your obstacle, with a plan for it.

05

Calm, not cheerleading

Nobody cheers a successful founder on with “You can do it, you’ll get rich one day!” People who are already there don’t hype themselves; they calmly state what they do. Pep talk quietly reminds you that you’re not there yet. Your affirmations sound like someone who already is: calm, factual, no exclamation marks.

You're not the only one

Everyone carries
one of these.

These are the inner critics people bring us most often. Yours doesn’t have to be on the list. It only has to be yours.

Questions

Good to know.

How much does it cost?

$24, one-time, for a six-minute personal affirmations track, a lock screen image and a 30-day calendar reminder.

Which languages are available?

English, German, Spanish and French, each with a native female or male voice.

Do affirmations actually work?

They can, when they are believable, connected to your values and repeated. Generic “I am” statements that clash with how you feel can backfire, which is why we calibrate every line to where you are today and use your own proof.

How is this different from your hypnosis tracks?

Hypnosis tracks are 15 to 18 minutes of deep relaxation, best heard as you fall asleep. Affirmations are a six-minute, wide-awake daily practice you speak along with. Many people pair them: affirmations in the morning, hypnosis at night.

How do I listen?

Every day for 30 days, ideally at the same moment. Hear the first round, then say the lines with the voice, out loud or silently, and use your if-then plans during the day. Never while driving.

Is the voice real?

The voice is generated with AI, carefully chosen for each language and tuned to sound calm and natural. Your script is written with the help of AI from your own answers, and every track is checked by a human before it is sent to you.

Is this therapy?

No. It's a relaxation and self-development audio. It can be a lovely companion, but it doesn't replace a therapist, doctor or medical treatment. If you're struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a professional.

How long until I get my track?

Within 72 hours of your order, by email, as an MP3 you can keep and play anywhere.

What if it doesn't feel right?

Tracks are made just for you, so we don't offer open-ended revisions. If we made a mistake, like a mispronounced name or something you asked us to avoid, reply to the delivery email and we'll fix it.

What happens to my answers?

They're stored with your order so we can write your script, and are used for nothing else. We delete them 12 months after delivery, or earlier whenever you ask. Details in our privacy policy.
